About This Ceramic Stove Glass
This premium high-temperature ceramic replacement glass is designed for use in wood-burning stoves, fireplace inserts, and other appliances that require ceramic stove glass. It is manufactured in the USA from durable pyroceramic material and engineered to withstand extreme operating temperatures while maintaining a clear, reliable view of your fire.
Unlike tempered glass, which can shatter under high heat, ceramic stove glass is made specifically for high-temperature applications. It offers excellent thermal stability, minimal expansion, and long-term durability when properly installed.
Key Features
- High-temperature rated ceramic stove glass (continuous operating range up to 1,290°F and for short periods of time up to 1,400°F)
- Precision cut for proper fit and safe operation
- Clear fire view with a light amber/transparent tint (normal for ceramic glass)
- Made in the USA
- Sold as an individual panel (price is per glass)
- Gasket/tape is typically sold separately. You can reuse your existing gasket or replace as needed
Important: This is not tempered glass. Tempered glass is not suitable for wood stoves or high-heat fireplace appliances.
Install tip: Replace worn gaskets and ensure clips are snug (do not overtighten). Always follow your stove manufacturer’s instructions.
